June is a young adult spayed female Blue Heeler/Beagle mix that weighs around 25 pounds. She is grey with black and tan markings and lots of speckles and spots. June is a very social, affectionate dog that loves everyone she meets, especially children, and she will make a terrific family dog. She came to our shelter with a litter of pups and she did an excellent job raising them even though she is barely more than a puppy herself. June has tested positive for heart worms but has no clinical signs of heart worm disease. She has already been started on Advantage Multi, a monthly topical application heart worm and flea prevention/treatment that is expected to clear the heart worm infection within two years.
